I talked to Rachel yesterday and she was calling to let me know how her doctor’s appointment went as her and Robby recently found out that they were expecting.

I could tell that something was up, but I didn’t know if it was good or bad. She told me that they were going to be having twins. This is exciting, funny, scary all at the same time. I think everyone is a little shellshocked from the news. It will all be good, though.

What is wierd is how many people that I know that have had twins in the last few years. I would think it to be a little rare to know more than one person relatively well that has had twins, but now I know three. One is Rachel’s best friend, Michelle, and another is the youth pastor and his wife at our Church.

It is definitely going to be an exciting/busy first half of the year for our family. Ansley will have her first birthday in March, my birthday is in February, my mom’s is in May along with Mother’s day, Father’s day is in June, our anniversary is in July and both of my nieces’ (Emily and Bailey) birthdays are in July. I hope I didn’t forget anyone. July is also the likely birth month of the twins.

This is really all that I know now.

I hear that mini vans are really cool.
