MBA Update…

I finally went to my first class for MSC 603. Last weeks class was cancelled due to a Tornado Watch in the area. The class shouldn’t be too bad. It will cover both business statistics and the second half will cover managerial science. The first class was a review of the first six chapters of our statistics book. It was to review calculating both population and sample mean, variance, and standard deviation. We also talked about discrete and continual populations and finally discussed normal distribution curves.
I feel like I have learned these concepts in about five different classes, although none have been called statistics. One of my EE classes, Signals and Systems, contained a lot of probability and statistics.
So far, this semester seems that it will be similar to last semester. I have a Monday and Thursday class where one is discussion and theory and the other is mathematical.
Hopefully, the results of this semester will be the same.
